January 27 is the United Nations International Holocaust Day of Remembrance and the inspiration for today's Treatment.

Remember the Holocaust

God. Spirit. Higher Power. Infinite Presence. By whatever name I call the Intelligence that is the Creator of all Life ... it is honored to be known. It has the Wisdom to hold all it makes and all that is made from what it makes. It knows what to do, when to do it, why to do it and how. There is nothing that can happen outside the uncharted circumference of God.

Having been created by this Source of all Life, I am of it. I am made of it. I am an expression of it. I am inseparable from it. Therefore I have the ability to hold all that occurs and to respond to it with wisdom.

So I do not need to turn away from anything that troubles me or the world. I have the wisdom to see it, face, it, and stand firmly in the spiritual truth.

I remember the Holocaust because all people deserve to be valued as God expressing.

I remember the Holocaust because all people deserve to be viewed through the lens of love.

I remember the Holocaust because pretending it didn't happen is insanity.

I remember the Holocaust because human pain can be healed by Divine Love.

I remember the Holocaust because I want others to remember the pain of my ancestors, too, as a detour, not a destination.

I remember the Holocaust because I know the Love of God sustains in pain and sorrow the same way it is present in joy and celebration.

I remember the Holocaust because it reminds me that human decision can be faulty, but Divine Truth is always available to turn human limitation around.

I am grateful for the ability to remember. I am grateful for the option of redemption. I am grateful for the willingness to see, feel and experience the pain of others. I am grateful to know this pain is not the totality of life.

So I let this gratitude escort me into the ever-present nature of spiritual law. The law that is always working from Good, for Good is working now. Let that Good be birthed from the tainted soil of the Holocaust into fertile fields of daffodils wherever hatred tries to flourish. Let this be the Truth of Love and LIfe. For one. For all.
