My Peace
I breathe in. I breathe out. It is the natural expression of life. The respiratory system and the circulatory system work together to provide the oxygen and blood the body needs. The respiratory system and the circulatory system work together to expel anything the body does not need.
The Creator of these systems designed them to work together, not compete. Neither system is better than the other. The human body needs them both to do their jobs to sustain life. They operate as individual systems that must do their own work.
The heart can't fix the lungs. The lungs can't replace the heart. No jealousy. No competition. No drama. They stand alone and do their
best.
And when needed, they collaborate. They support each other. They work together and they work together in way that demonstrates a peace that surpasses human understanding.
Like my breath, my peace is a natural expression of Life within, as and through me.
I am responsible for my peace. I
joyfully stay grounded and pay attention to how I process the circumstances I find myself in.
I am protective of my peace. I am able to rely on myself to stand alone, when needed, to live out my highest ideals.
I generously share my peace. I surround myself with people who provide a mutually beneficial exploration of life.
I consciously attend to my peace. My spiritual practices connect me to the deepest, strongest spiritual roots.
I celebrate my peace. I honor the work I have done and continue to do by recognizing how far I have come.
I refuse to allow my peace to be broken by the actions and words of others. I turn away from old patterns and false beliefs that could lead
me to damage my own self-worth. I release my attachments to people who disrespect me or cause me to doubt my divinity.
In the words of JayJay Douglas:
“My peace is not a hotel for your unprocessed emotions.
My peace is not a lost and found for people who refuse to do the work.
I love you … but I love my sanity more.”
My peace is my acknowledgement that my soul is alive and well.
My peace is my remembering that I am safe and all is well.
My peace is my touchstone that opens the door to joy, freedom, and all the good that is available to me.
So, I breathe in gratitude for the journey that has brought me to this deep and valuable
awareness.
I am grateful for all that has occurred that has resulted in my peace being my default experience.
I am grateful I can take three deep breaths and find my way back to peace in any moment.
Peace is the presence and the power of the deepest Truth.
I surrender into this Truth knowing there is no opposite to believe in.
Let this peace be alive in me and throughout the world ... now and for all time.
Ashe. Amen. And So It Is.
